Objectives.  –  Starting from an approach cross attachment theory and psychodynamic theory [1], this study analyses the quality of the relationship among professionals (family assistants and educators) and the child placed in foster care [2]. To what extent can this alternative relationship favor the expression of insecurity attachment? What are conditions of caregiving rising from the foster care situation [3]? Methods.  –  The study (quantitative and qualitative) was carried out with twenty-eight participants (professionals and children). Data were collected longitudinally in two steps, separated by an average of six months. The tools used to measure relationship between children and professionals are the CCH, the Edicode, the Ca-mir, the Relationship Questionnaire (or RQ) and the Family Drawing Test. The analysis of transfer and countertransference will be assessed   through two semi-structured clinical interviews.   Results.  – The first results show specificities in the attachment relationship as well as transfer-countertransference manifestations. Indeed, there is an overrepresentation of disorganized attachment for children and most preoccupied attachment for professionals. Thus, the question of reparation and guilty arises, as well as that resilient processes.
